Ontario man hopes to bottle his success

ONTARIO -- Are you tired of passing out cigars when your wife has a baby?
Are old-fashioned business cards boring?
Do you need a unique way to advertise your business grand opening or a clever way to promote your child's graduation, birthday or wedding?
Bob Napier's come up with a novel way to celebrate or commemorate any special occasion.
He's willing to put your face -- or anybody's face for that matter -- on a bottle of water. He can transfer a business card, graduation picture, engagement pictures, pictures of athletes, you name it, to a label and affix to a 20-ounce bottle of water that can then be given away, sold or just stored as a keepsake.
His company is called Aquaimaging Inc., and right now it's operating out of a room in his Ontario home.
"We're brand new," Napier said. "We're just a couple of weeks old, but we think this can be a big success. As far as I know, no one around Mansfield is doing what we're doing."
He said there are plenty of companies that can be found via the Internet that market and sell private label bottled water. Napier said he can do it at a lower price. He can also produce small orders.
"We'll do a case, two cases. We'll do larger orders," he said. "We're considerably cheaper because it's expensive to transport water."
The water Napier uses comes from an artesian spring in Elyria.
"The price varies, according to the label we're going to put on the bottle," Napier said. "The more intricate, the fancier the label, the more it will cost."
But he said on average, the price would be about $1 per bottle.
Napier unveiled his product at the recent Mid-Ohio Home Show at the Richland County Fairgrounds.
"We know this can be a success," he said. "The response has been more than we anticipated. We got several orders through the home show and we've got some referrals already."
